Communications Officer

Amy Jackson

Amy is responsible for the communications activities of RUMA; she is a freelance communications consultant mainly dealing with issues and crises in the farming industry.

A graduate in agriculture from SAC (now SRUC), Amy has almost 25 years’ experience handling communications projects in the agriculture, environment, science, industry and construction sectors. She is a trustee of the Royal Forestry Society and is currently studying part-time for a PhD at the University of Nottingham’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Science. Amy is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and Guild of Agricultural Journalists.
